Analysis of Forgotten One

In the breezes I flow once
known as a friend,
sought out for guidance
now to wonder if forgotten.
Once heard with wisdom like
a counselor and aid,
now simply misunderstood
simply seen as jealous and petty,
the wisdom only to be forgotten.
An insight to all possibilities
like the spanning of the universe,
only to be looked at as if closed
doors were never opened,
an insight forgotten.
All these things are like
the treasure in a chest....
It all is not forgotten,
for like the flux of time
it will be needed once more.
For I feel forgotten,
lost in the tides of life
where all things must come and go.
Only to see things come full circle.
