Analysis of Forbidden
Within the murky shadows
of my soul, lies the secret
lips cannot address.
Across the dew kissed lawn,
in the early morning dawn
The vision of my love waits
Encompassed in his strength.
Drowned in tender kisses,
seals my fate.
Clinched eyes hold him tight.
Obsession rises from the depths,
weakness, then loss of breath.
excitement stirs, requests emerge.
In his embrace, the world
vanishes about me.
His kisses linger on my lips.
Traced in memory by fingertips.
Savor the forbidden fruit.
The songbird chirps his melody,
returning me to my mournful certainty.
