Analysis of Despair Into Hope
I can hold you close to my heart
As your thoughts tear you apart
The pain in your eyes is like ice
Gripping my heart like a vice
So I whisper my comforting words
My stomach almost turns
As I wait to see if I made your smile return
Then I can finally breathe again
As we are able to make amends
And we smile as we pretend
We will never ever fight again.
