Analysis of Dance With Me

I know you've seen me across the room
Your eyes say it all
You want to dance the dance of lust
Better be prepared
I will take you somewhere

Don't be frightened, take my hand
Follow the rhythm
Tomorrow's another day
Let today be today
Play to the beat

Your body says it all
As it trembles to the beat
The way you're moving only seems so right
As we come closely to the rhythm

I want to know your body
Give me a chance to map it out
Let my hands be the guide
Feel my touch, my breath
It knows you so well
Your hips say it all, it knows me so well too
Your body screams for my touch
Lusts for my attention

Be prepared
I will take you somewhere
Give me the moment, to touch you till the end of the song
Our bodies move to the dance of lust
We were meant to move to each other
Like two souls connecting
The rhythm, the lust
The beat, the touch
Every breath meant for these three mins
Our bodies were made for this moment

Today is today
Let me release you
As the music dies
This is all we know
Tomorrows another day

The words imprinted in my brain are simple truths. Truth of my love, life, and death. A lot of what I write are about past loves and present feelings of love. It is all about trying to express how you feel despite what happens. more…
