Analysis of Contest

I do not care if I win
as long as I give you a grin
or fill you with fear
or bring out your tears
or make you feel lonely again.

I am not here for contests
I'm writing more I confess
This site inspires
Lyrics, Satires,
Sonnets, and all of the rest.

I smother in some of your pain
Some bring me laughter again
Some make me mad
Some make me feel sad
And some make me wish you were sane.

I am enjoying this community
not knowing who the winner will be
I don't really care
It's neither here nor there
I'm enjoying just being me.

Poetry is better inspired
not contaminated by pressure required
I'll speak with my pen
what rots me within
in hope that bitterness expires.
