Analysis of Consumed By Reality

Consumed By Reality
                   By Phillip Michael  Apr 2012

Lightly swaying inside my brain
Eyes closed
Breathing the silence of peace
Culture of physical pain
Intertwines with mental anguish
That only I know
I can't begin to describe if it were my own TV show
Loving thoughts of desires yet to be released
An everlasting candle lights the path at least
So dim… sometimes hard to decipher
The plight of the golden ego scratching at the skin
Maybe, just maybe… I'll be released
From the crippling pain lurking
Inside and on me
And deep within
