Analysis of Colvecchio Syrah, 1995 (Banfi)

I don't call him "sweetie" anymore.

The sign of a good red, he said,
is that it doesn't break apart,
when you pair it with food.

This is a very cohesive red, he said.
With notes of licorice, he added.

He has taught me how to find pleasure.
Where, too.

I am like this red. Very cohesive
even under pressure. Finally.

I even do not break apart.

Even though I do not call him
"sweetie" anymore.
