Analysis of Cloudy day in the garden

Cloudy day in the garden

I sit here all alone with me
As the rain clouds endlessly
Fill a sky, that yesterday
Was from those grey clouds free
The sun is missing from the scene
And the temperature's quite cool
But though it's not like yesterday
It's still so beautiful.

Green parrot feeds from seed filled tray
He takes a glimpse at me
And sees that there's no danger here
So he contentedly
Continues eating hungrily
Then flies off when he's done
To be replaced by a gentle dove
Hey, he's a pretty one!

The shades of green here all around
Are accented by dark clouds
And seem to fill the earth with peace
Then parrots screeching loud
They come in flashing pink and grey
And chase the doves away
It seems to me this isn't fair
But this is nature's way.
