Analysis of Blue Heaven
A week of rain drowning me in depression
a blanketed grey sky of hatred
my head is measuring barometric pressure
cold pizza for breakfast
everything feels cold
memories are not even here to comfort me
washed away out to the sea
I am tired
feels like someone took a plunger to my eyes
a nagging cough barely noticable
I just want this day to pass
not feeling up to the task
living in this place I hate
because it hated me first
waiting for Carolina blue skies
to carry me home
that is where my memories lie
they are still afloat
a fragment of my imagination
needed to get me through this rainy day
