Analysis of Be a man
Everyone tells me I gotta be a man, but that's hard when I can barely walk without a helping hand; When I let go of the finger I can barely stand, I gotta keep telling myself "yes you can"; Noone thought I was a poet but now it's time to show it; This is my last chance, I'm not gonna blow it; I was always in trouble and getting the cops called on me, I feel like I was grown and on the streets at the age of three; You want me to be a man? Let me work on myself and let me be!!! Nothing like writing and feeling free, Now it's time to walk without the hand, time to be a man..
