Analysis of awake

Many days I wake
 And wish to be elsewhere
 Not stuck in a life
That can only hold disappointment and despair

Before I rise I take a long breath
Knowing the day ahead of me
Is not something that i am looking forward to
 All the death and destiny

Then I rise hoping it's a dream
Then I realize that I'm still alive
And I must go on with my day
Doing everything I need to strive
