Analysis of Ave Maria

High in the mountains,
Illuminated by the sunlight
Where the shades of twilight
Were heralding the night...
There was a most beautiful
Shepherdess and a handsome young villager,
He dearly loved her.
Yet, on a sunny spring day,
He left the village.
She loudly cried to the Earth,
"I only wish your eyes could see into my heart."
She never knew that he loved her,
Or that he would ever return.
So alone and afraid, way out in the mountains
Far beyond the starlights she loved him,
That she went down to the Monastery,
To confess to the Archimandrite about
Her wishes to be a nun -
After she became Sister Maria,
Torn between her love for him
And the love for God
She has to fend for herself to be a
Master of her own destiny.
Her faith in love was not helping, nor healing
Her Wounds -
Yet, some forces taught her how to master the soul.
She started to discover her true inner calling,
Sometimes she was frightened yet ready to learn.
But one day the young handsome villager,
Came back to see her, to tell her about his love,
And searching the mountains
From sunrise to sunset until
He heard her melodious voice,
And the Abbey's dulcet bell ringing.
Oh, if you listened to the song of that beauty’s rare being,
This is the prayer of the day she was singing,
Ave Maria,
Ave Maria!
