Analysis of An Attempt To Her Appeal
I want to hold her
and feel inner peace flatter my soul
with a warmth incapable of burning
chilling to the very bone
her inner beauty is a work of art
Monet could hold no candle to her
she could melt a candle into a masterpiece
or paint it with colors from heaven
I can not look at her
without gazing into her eyes
her eyes, like the calm Atlantic
so open and mesmerizing
crimping at the very ends of blue
how I yearn to be lost in them
an excuse to send her a message in a bottle
though I fear the message would be blank
for when I am in her presence
I feel like an inexperienced rider
who has lost the reigns-- a reigning fool
in an open field of green that meets the horizon
