Analysis of Reality
Bethany "Bray" Willis-Jones 1972 (Iowa)
Reality is strong
Lying heavily on the soul
At times causing one to drift into a dream
A refuge
To maintain existence
Hiding from or surviving reality
A dream state
Floating through time
Sleeping in one's self
Away from the world
From the present horror of life
Separating from the reality of the body
Sleeping in one's mind
The calmness that lies there
A refuge
Struggling to wake
Not wanting to realize the past
Just maintaining for
Reality is strong
And lies heavy on the soul
