Analysis of Return to me like

As if we've never parted, but still missing me as if we'd never cross paths again
Arms wide, smile to light the sky, all the while with a stomach full of butterflies

Come back and let's pick up from the mark we left on each other's heart
Making sure it feels genuine from the unwanted separation of when we had to part

So when return to me, it'll be majestic and fulfilling, even if we have to part

Return to me like, you never meant to leave,
Return to me, to give my heart some relief
