Analysis of You and Me

Ansh Shah 2004 (Bangalore)

I think about you all-day
I miss you every night
I want to meet you and say hey
I hope it's alright.

When I feel low
You give me strength
To you, I want to go
And say we are meant

We have lied to ourselves
To protect each other
We have cried by ourselves
To protect one another.

I have thousands of songs to describe
I have millions of adjectives to describe
But wait!
None are worth enough to describe something worth everything?

Hardin said “You're my breath, my pain, my heart, my life”
Kavinsky said, “There’s no one like you, Covey.”
But all I need is 3 words
I say ‘You and Me’.
