Analysis of Thank you God
Emma Burgos 1962 (Brooklyn)
Thank you God for your loving ways,
Our love for you is here to stay.
You shield us and protect us day by day.
We go to church to sing and pray.
You gave us flowers that smell so sweet
and lots of fruits for us to eat.
You gave your love and die for us
In my heart in God I trust.
Thank you God for blessing me
For you I'll get on my hands and knees.
