Analysis of Dream
Have you ever wanted to die and then not, all at the same time?
You jumped off a cliff, screamed the whole time
Stabbed yourself with a knife but cried from the pain you hold inside
Dying isn't very scary you see
It's the idea that my life will never be how I hoped it'd be
They say it will get better just you wait and see
But what if it never does and my dreams stay just that, dreams
As a child my dreams had high expectations
Over the years they've been lowered from trepidation
Now my aspirations are just bare bones the lowest of the low
Will I ever get to grow and finally live a life I have only ever known with my eyes closed?
