Analysis of The Limits of Ember Pines
A long journey home that night
Through foggy dark woods called Ember Pines
My first step in I felt with shiver
Of the frosty breeze so bitter
Through this puzzle not one light
The moon! Yes it will guide me
Through this darkened maze I see
When suddenly I hear leaves rustling
Alone it goes this mind a-tussling
What else is in these woods with me
The noise keeps climbing as I keep walking
The winds scream be as if they are talking
I look and there is nothing in my sight
The noise though has went from back to left to right
There are more than one stalking
As I start now running
I hear something
Not of this earth or time
The noises the shrieking noises climb
What to do? Keep running!
I reach the road from where I came
And I can go no further
The noises that I could hear
Have come to a halt no fear
It's as if they can go no further
