Analysis of broken heart

jenni 1987 (missouri)

my heart in lying on the ground,
it will never again make a sound.
he will never know the way i feel,
and that our love was for real.
we used to walk around on the streets,
he even swept me off of my feet,
but its all gone now, no more to see.
