Analysis of Lessons in life

There's lessons that we had to learn in life,
Ones that truely hurt as if cut by a knife.
Others that linger for days on end,
Making it hard for us to simply make a friend.
We've gone through so much down in the pits of hell,
To much to handle but who was there to tell.
We bare this load without telling another,
Sweeping it under the rug so it always stays covered.
We numbed for so long we do not know how to feel,
We robbed for this feeling there's nothing we wouldn't steal.
Couldn't trust others and they couldn't trust us,
Staying five steps ahead was always a must.
The world is spinning while we're standing still,
Taking short cuts in life while others climb the hill.
Sometimes you have to ask yourself when enough is enough,
Say goodbye to all bad and leave the Good stuff.
Make something of yourself it's never to late,
Let god help you out he'll open the gate.
