Analysis of A Season of Reflection
Guess it’s safe to say
I’m now middle aged
Fifty-three years old
Every day numbered and paged
You can call me old fashioned
And you can call me old fart
Now it’s time to rewind
With a smile I’ll go back to start
I’ll relive the good ole days
Thank God my memory’s still intact
Sometimes like a fish I’m caught on a line
Reeled into flashback
Memories flood my mind
Like an album of photographs
My how the times have changed
With a hearty chuckle it makes me laugh
I didn’t know it at the time
That all my memories I’d save as a collection
And the time will come for me now and then
A season of reflection
