Analysis of Digging Deep

In me there is
Something so elusive
I beat myself up searching
To the point of being abusive

To find that certain line
The apex of expression
From the deepest parts of me
Giving clue to my confession

Emotions sometimes
Hide upon my sleeve
Unbeknownst to me
 The mystery I’ve conceived

For what I’m looking for
I can’t really say
Maybe a WOW moment within
That I might amaze myself today

What could hide so deep in me
That even I can’t find it
To describe that tension
Release and unwind it

To hit that mark
Reach the mountains peak
To satisfy my muse’s quest
Digging deep
