Analysis of The Partition Of Hearts
Sometimes, I conceptualize
And visualize
I feel heart-sinking
I cannot stop
Overflowing tears from my eyes
On the painful picture of partition
Fire, blood, fears, cries
And cruelty beyond its limits
A tsunami of hatred
A storm of mental frustration,
Migration from the soil of childhood
Between
Pakistan and India
The wounded history
The crying reality
The unique enmity
I cannot figure out
It was a partition of land
Or partition of hearts
The partition of land was not a pain
That couldn't heal
However,
The hearts partition
It is a hell on the earth
We Pakistani and Indian breathe
With open eyes and mind
In this fire
To destroy ourselves
I wish; I pray
For the unification of hearts
To wave and breeze love.
