Analysis of Western Passport
I took my Western Passport
Turning page by page of it
I look at its colour, design
And the beauty of printing
I also realize its power,
Facilities and benefits
I felt parading
Memories of my struggles
In the mind-screen
When I compared with that
My sacrifices;
I stayed away from my land,
Family and friends
The taste of the language
The seasons, the weather
The streets, the open sky
Full moon and stars
Sweet, lovely
And aspiring surroundings
Ceremonies, functions, gatherings
The memories stopped, parading
When Passport whispered to me;
Oh, You, passport-holder
Whatever you sacrificed, is nothing
Since your colour prevails
Accept this reality.
