Analysis of She Daydreams
The girl is always here, but she seems to be absent everyday.
She never pays attention, her mind is always somewhere else.
I don't know exactly where her mind wanders too, so I ask
“I can't help but wonder, where do you go during the school day?”
The girl tells me that she heads South, where all of the white snow melts.
She tells me she goes to the beach and lays in the sun to bask.
Then she flys up to the moon and stays there until about noon.
The aliens there aren't usually mean, and they aren't green,
Contrary to popular belief. Learning this caused me grief.
Childhood dreams of galactic green aliens, torn at the seams.
When she's bored of the moon, she comes back to earth and dives underwater
The deep blue sea at her disposal, she swims and swims and swims
Magically transforming in a whirl of wispy white sparkles.
She is favored by the merman king, for she is his daughter.
She says it's an odd experience since she doesn't have limbs.
She claims that its quite beautiful. At its beauty she marvels.
She daydreams all day long, and travels from castles to igloos.
From the 1st century to the 40th century she roams.
She daydreams all day long, daydreams, daydreams, and daydreams she does
She daydreams all day long, it's better than sitting bored in class.
