Analysis of My Etched Heart
Every touch, a script of forever,
Every kiss, a bond so tender,
Your breath on my skin, a sweet torment,
Burns like honey set on fire, every moment spent.
I know every curve, every inch, a map so dear,
My mind can't let you go, it's crystal clear,
When I lay in bed alone, my thoughts adrift,
They belong only to you, my soul's sweet gift.
I need to be set on fire by you once more,
To feel the blaze of passion, to the core,
Your every reaction to my touch, a dance divine,
Your very existence has marked me, endlessly you are mine.
The flame of you, an artist's stroke,
Has etched my heart, but beyond the smoke,
For all time, in love's eternal art,
You’ve become the masterpiece of my heart.
