Analysis of Kryptonite

They tried to tie me down and tame me
God cut the ropes
I was made to be this way
I am who I am
I was born a mess
Mad at the world from the beginning
No one to trust
No one to guide me to the positive
I was stuck in the negative
Like a slave my mind had me trapped
When your soul is broke
It all pierces like glass
Abandonment turns you cold
So cold you forget how to love
Question if you ever knew how
Dear daddy you taught me that in the womb
Burning with rage
I feel my heart exploding to pieces in my chest
Being dead this deep makes you feel like you were fed kryptonite
The only way to survive is to jump start your heart back to life
