Always Ready For You
I am always ready for you
You are as welcome as perfume
Ready as a flowery fragrance
On the gentle breeze
Gently blown in my direction
Everyday I see you is
A revelation that life is meant
To be greeted with a smile
Celebrating your eyes
Lips and golden halo of hair
Worn as natural as
The corona of the Sun!
My hours awaken to you
Breathing is a celebration
In your presence words
Become bridges
Arms reaching out in embrace
To a world I long to know
What a universe of possibilities
Glow in the sounds
Every syllable you make
Colors brighten around you
As I am entranced
By the air transformed
With your voice of delicacy.
Exotic enchantment exudes
From the presence of your soul
Such natural display
Takes me from my solitary life
Into your serene world
I feel so welcome
And such kindness
Intrigues my senses
Thoughts of you
Bathe me in dreams of
A place of timeless peace
Where love beats again
And I am always ready for you!
