Analysis of My mind has rhymes

Latin X 1967 (Philadelphia)

Allow me to educate your mind with my rhymes.

I have nothing to hide.
I have a coherent mind.
My mind dictates my rhymes.

My logical mind searches for answers.
Logic tells me my heart is foolish at times.
So I listen to my mind.

I’m able to give so much,
yet have been given so little.

Reciprocity is necessary if you want to be with me. Take heed, I will leave if this isn’t given to me.

Life is a give and take.
My personal boundaries are at stake.

Can you give as easily as you take?
You think you’ll leave my heart
with an ache?

My emotions will turn off as soon as they turned on. Believe me I’ll quickly move on.

I don’t give an opportunity to anyone to
walk on my gentle heart.
That’s how I protect my heart.

That beauty I hide so deep inside is for that special someone.
He’ll be able to see it.
He’ll be able to feel it.
