Analysis of I'm Strong But I'm Tired

I'm strong but I'm tired, my faith grows wary.
I believe in love but I also fear it.
Because all I've known is heartbreak, it takes strength for me to believe in anything else.
I know I deserve it but there are moments where I don’t think it’ll ever come my way.
When I'm strong but I'm tired and just want to give up.
I just want to go away.
Stop trying.
Stop believing.
Stop feeling everything so deeply to the core.
See, it takes strength for me to believe in anyone when I've helped them at their worst and they still left.
It takes strength for me to believe in love when I am crying myself to sleep over someone who hurt me.
I know what it’s like to be tired of being that strong.
I'm tired of getting hurt.
I'm tired of getting disappointed.
I'm tired of giving my best only to watch people take advantage of me.
I think too much about people who care too little.
But I don’t know how to change a heart like mine.
It is in my veins, the way I love.
The truth is, I will always know pain at a level deeper than others.
I will always know this darkness that others never will.
But with all of the intense emotions that I feel so heavily, I also feel the good things and appreciate them more than anyone else.
So I value being a woman like me.
I appreciate my heart that cares so deeply when others have grown cold.
As much as it hurts sometimes, it’s women like me that change others.
It’s the genuine good that I bring to the world that fills others with hope and light.
There is something rare about me.
I am the hope people look for when all is lost.
I am the love I give freely when they feel empty.
I am the arms holding them when they feel weak.
I am the good the world needs.
So I won't change.
I will not allow pain to make me feel so depleted.
The world needs more women like me.
I now know that I matter more than I ever realize.
