Analysis of Jogging

I went for a jog in the evening
The sky still pink
Cool breeze
Endless Asphalt
Leisurely I go
I notice
A white car with tinted windows
One lap
Two lap
The white car with tinted windows
Dissolves
The pink Sky
people
ice cream cart
children
Endless asphalt
The white car with tinted windows
Lap three
Lap four
The white car with tinted windows inches closer
The tinted windows roll
Crippled with fear I fall
Acid? Assault? rape? murder?
Obscenities are spat
The white car with tinted windows
Satisfied, goes away
I limp home
No longer notice the sky
The 15th evening arrives
I went out again
The sky almost pink
Lap one
Lap two
A white car with windows
The sky turns black
Fear swallows me whole
The white car with windows passes me by —
A woman with two kids drives by
Lap Three
Lap four
The sky returns to me
I jog back home
Five miles in.
