Analysis of Enduring Steadfast Love
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Save us, we pray, O Lord,
We pray and give success;
You are loved and adored,
Send prosperity to bless.
Bless the name of the Lord,
Blessing You in Your house;
Praising in one accord,
To worship with my spouse.
You O Lord are my God,
As You made Your light shine;
And we honor and laud,
As the Holy Divine.
Bind the rapt sacrifice,
With cords up to the horns;
As payment for the price,
On the altar that scorns.
You are always my God,
And I will give you cheers;
Another is a fraud,
You wipe away my tears.
For I will extol you,
Knowing that You are good;
Steadfast love that is true,
And precepts understood.
