Analysis of Friend

Friendship is a fragile flower
Pure and innocent at first
But it can be deceitful
Hiding darkness within its holds

Like the rock music
It lures us, in a baffling way
But there lies a  plan
To snatch at our emotions

Like a praying mantis,
It shall strike
At the heart of our simplicity
Preying on inexperience
And leaving behind only loneliness

A war of life and death ensues
As we fight to keep our sanity
But the Trojan horse has done its job
Leaving us vulnerable for vultures

So beware of friends ,my friend
For it is not always what it seems
They are like a mirage, an invisible enemy
That may destroy our hopes and dreams.
