Analysis of The cell I'm in

Kelley Davies 1983 (Dallas)

Self doubt drives concern

Will he make it?

Will he burn?

Will he destroy himself before the tide has turned?

Karma is at my back door

Banging on the roof

Crawling through the window

The cracks in the facade

Are visible from the street

They see right through me

A piece of meat

How can I apologize

For what I've done?

A thousand times over I've tried

What else can I do but go to the grave?

Would that make you happy?

From this cell, would I be saved?

Or would I just have to come back and do it all over again?
