Analysis of Jamaica

Arman Hoque 1977 (Winnipeg)

Sitting on the edge of the beach,
Just close enough for the water to reach.
My toes dipped in, as far as it goes…
Serenity spreads as serenity grows.
My body relaxes, instinctively knows.

This is a prime location,
To escape while on vacation.
To let go for a while your vocation,
Let magic start with incantation.

Let’s go away to Jamaica.
Let fate carry you away and take ya.
Try the lifestyle; it might make ya.
Just sip enough, don’t drink till it break ya.

Land of one love, poets thrive,
Reaching for their inner drive.

Towards pursuits, we often strive,
Put plans in action, we do contrive.
