Analysis of Previous Employer

They claimed to be a friend,
That would stand by me to the end,
And reminded me over and over.

I resisted their conditioning,
And fought off their soliciting,
To evade the mental takeover.

I am sure it was intimidation,
That created the situation,
For the desire to send me away.

My exemplary behavior,
Left no need for a savior,
I was a leader that could not stay.

With desires to get even,
And call each a lying heathen,
I realized that exodus would be bliss.

Would be better for my health,
So I kept my hands to myself,
Said "a Dios" and blew them a kiss.

I refused to show my face,
In that God-forsaken place,
But with time saw forgiveness as best.

Things happen for a reason,
Now give me something to believe in,
So that I can continue the quest.

No tears where I bled,
And plenty of road up ahead,
The experience is what makes it a win.

The journey is who we are,
It can take us near or far,
Making us the best that we have ever been.

The side that deeply thinks about things. The side with an imagination and a desire to use my hands for more than just brute physical labor. more…
