Analysis of Burdens you bare

Staring at the wall
as darkness begins to fall.
My nerves begin to crawl.
Will I ever sleep at all?

I'm wondering what you're thinking
or if you're alive and well.
I know the burdens you bare.
I know you're going through hell.

I cannot feel your feelings
Or even cry your tears
but I will stand beside you
and help you conquer your fears.

Can you feel your burden
as it rushes through your veins.
It may leave you numb
but does it really kill the pain?

Life is too short
just to throw it all away.
Your burden will not last
but I am here to stay.

So tell me all your secrets
so your burden can lie with me.
I will lift you up
and time will set you free.

Now that your burdens gone
you can finally be set free.
You may not be here
but your memories will always be.
