Analysis of Simple Things
Steve Cochrane 1955 (Cape)
I do not need to travel to
A country far away
For nature's beauty here will do
On any given day.
No orchestra need I to hear
Some music fill my soul.
The songs of nature fill each ear
And makes the day seem whole.
I do not need to touch the things
Of beauty and of peace.
The clouds and stars above still bring
Me joy that does not cease!
