Analysis of Be Broken

Dripping water
Marching tiny droplets
Fall into a cracked pot
They rise from falling
Then fall again

Meniscus never rising
For a weakened jar
can o so contain
That which the broken doth maintain.
An inch more,
An inch gone
"Work in futility?"

Maybe
Save the source!

"And
Deprive the soul
Of its need quencher,
Its panacea ?"

Maybe
Hasten the drops
Only a few more !

"Cause an avalanche ?
Then call the last glistening impatient droplet-
the infinitesimal grain
That tips the scale
Source of the great imbalance?"

"And Loosen that which gives integrity-
The remnant dignity of the weakened jar?"

"O Such a great imbalance…."

See you quenched it...
The flame of the smoldering wick

Pieces of pottery on the floor
Parts of the puzzle that won’t fit

If time gifts us chance again
Heal the jar-
Or let it be...
