Analysis of Angry Dogs Just Need Love
I feel like a wounded, angry dog.
Hurt too many time to trust that hands and hearts could care.
Lashed out too many times when they poked and prodded to get a reaction.
“See, just a bad temperament.”.
Except, I can’t be put down for being inconvenient.
Brought to the shelter, said they couldn’t handle me anymore and reappeared two days later like nothing happened.
“See, it could be much worse for you if we want it to.”.
Backed into a corner, I have no more fight left in me.
Someone please put me down.
