Analysis of Thoughtless Daggers

The black deception of your lies enfolds me,
clasping me in its greedy paws
slowly, meticulously dismantling it.

Your flowing words scrub harshly at my soul,
forming deep abrasions on its gentle surface

Yet you continue to smile , laugh and live your life
not knowing what your thoughtless has done.

My heart and soul crumble into nothingness
and only my empty skeleton keeps me standing.

I compose myself and shift mechanically onwards;
but I often stumble
whenever your words
drive thoughtless daggers
though me
