Analysis of Simple enmarañado

Everything is so tangled.
Every time I look at it, I reaffirm how knotted, how dark, a path with thorns, and in this world, I don't wear shoes.
My feet, my legs, my exposed insides, and that pain that pierces me.
So many times I swore to you that I understood it and that despite everything, I would be there for us.
With pain, time has made me understand that beyond my desire, there are things I wouldn't overcome.
Discrimination, homophobia, hatred, and bad energies, are what I wouldn't expect from a family.
However, I'm not one to judge their apathy.
But I'll confess to you that as I leave, I wish with all my heart that you have the courage, the strength, and the bravery to face it one day; that you don't allow them to judge your joy and that they don't deprive you of dignity, decision, and love in your life.

About this poem

This poem arises from the pain I feel from not being accepted by my partner's family. Through these words, I attempt to capture the feelings of distress, disappointment, and inner turmoil that this has caused within me. It's a reflection on the emotional weight of facing discrimination and lack of acceptance, especially when the person I love seems to be okay with this situation. I hope these words convey the depth of my emotions and my desire to find strength and dignity amid this challenging circumstance.
