Analysis of fentanyl

We've lost so many to this dirty drug
But they still keep doing it until it's their grave they dug
I don't know what it will take for it all to come to an end
Maybe once everyone is gone and I'm left with not one friend
This drug is a killer and it causes everyone to die simply because we can't open our eyes
what happened to the days of rolling a blunt when we wanted to get high
Every day it takes more and we no longer see why
it keeps taking more and more but we start asking why
I don't think we can change it and the government would if they could
everyone is dying from the high they once liked
for those who can not stop it are no longer with us due to the lack
as we sit back and see all the losses of fentanyl
