Analysis of It's not about me

Valiantstar 1961 (Sydney)

It's not about me,
It's not about you.

It's not even about the things we do.

It's all about Him.

His sheep hear his voice:
Don't be surprised;

When the Ghost
Opens your eyes.

He has a remnant,
Pulled from the ashes.

From His bow;
Lightning flashes.

Take His nature;
Spread the seed...

The word: if God
Is life;
Indeed.

Caught up in His loving flow:

Hate the evil;
It must go.

Hear: do our part;
Each one in Him,
All of one heart.

Then will His Spirit flow:
Nothing to do;
But worship,
You know.
