Analysis of Another fight lost
Angelique Todd 1974 (Illinois)
Do you hear the voices screaming
Nothing here worth redeeming
Fires burn
Yet no one will learn
Terror for all
Everyone's small
Nothing is free
No matter what you believe
Hate and rage
Take center stage
Throwing our dollars as they dance
Giving reason no second chance
The only truth is what we're told
Selling out our very soul
You own nothing and you have no rights
So why bother adding to these fights
Watching it burn
As the world will turn
Everybody run
Hollywood brought their gun
It's all an illusion
To add to your confusion
Being black, being white
Neither color gives you the right
Take away identity
Suddenly he is she
Placate those masses
Kiss political asses
As they add to your note
Pay up or they'll cut your throat
Red side, blue side
But how do you feel inside
