Analysis of The last tape.

You know it’s sad when people feel that they are not wanted. That they were a mistake, praying on their knees wishing that they were in a better place. Letting tears fall from their face seeing that they arms have scars, wishing that they were one of them beautiful stars. Enough with all the lies they smile, but you can see the pressure in their eyes, been depressed for a while, wishing that they were the ones to slip and fall down the aisle. Mothers crying because they lost their beautiful child, being hurt for so long the darkness has piled. At one point they have pride then, leaving a note saying I just committed suicide, and that mommy and daddy I’ve tried but the evil in me has been spied. It’s okay don’t cry because, I’ll be safe here on the other side. I thank God for letting me be alive, and all of them times I’ve cried faking my “I’m fine” trust me I lied. I’m making this tape because I trust you, but this will be the last time I say that I love you, even the last time you will hear my voice, but don’t be sad because I chose to make a final choice. I had nobody from the start you just experienced my broken heart, you never seen the pain in my eyes been hurt for so long it’s like I’ve been traumatized. Hopefully one day I’ll see you in the afterlife and when I do, let’s hug and cry because that’s the fact of lifestyle

About this poem

I wrote this poem for myself, for people who feel as though they aren’t worthy enough, and for the people who have took their life. Feeling like you’re not wanted, that maybe you’re just better off gone.
