Analysis of Lost again

The way he touched me,
felt like lightning,
A thousand bolts,
Going all through my body,
The love,
The passion,
The feeling I can't control.

The way he looked at me,
Felt like a thousand butterfly's,
Their pure beauty,
The feeling they leave,
The love that they share,
The passion,
The feeling I can't control.

The way he kissed me,
The warmth,
The burning sensation,
I felt safe when he kissed me,
The forehead kisses the cheek kisses,
The passion,
The feeling I can't control.

He made me lose control,
But I still felt safe,
I still felt in control,
That feeling is gone,
One last touch,
One last look,
One last kiss.

I never had any of that,
He was gone,
Just like lightning,
When the storm is gone,
The lightning disappears,
No more light,
Just darkness.

I never had any of that,
He was gone,
Just like sight,
One minute you can have it,
The next it starts to disappear,
One minute it's there one minute it's not,
Just darkness.

I never had any of that,
He was gone,
No more burning sensations,
No more kisses,
No more warmth,
Just cold and loneliness,
Just longing desire.

Waiting for him to,
Make me feel lightning again,
Look deep into my eyes again,
Make me feel warm again,
Hes gone,
My safe place,
The feelings I couldn't control.
