Analysis of Answered Prayers
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
The wait,
May take time.
And the doing of it stays fixed on your mind.
But keep your faith strong.
All day and night long.
If someone who annoys.
As though to enjoy the doing of it.
To then begin to ignore you.
Not only your presence.
And everything else you do too?
But purposely done,
To refuse making eye contact.
Or being anywhere near you.
Know yourself to be among those blessed.
Feeling this to remember.
It is never too late to celebrate,
The mysterious ways God moves to remove...
A pain felt to feel it hated.
Inflicted by someone wishing,
To stay on both your nerves and aspirations!
