Analysis of starshine

i am beautiful like a star.
an indifferent beauty.
i only shine when the night’s inky tapestry unfurls.
i can catch your carefree
eye,
if you’re not distracted by the extravaganza of the shooting star or the alluring glow of the moon.
in the distance i sit, out of your orbit.
is my faint glow distinct from the others?
